Mark H. Ranges joined Bruno and Ferraro in February 2015 bringing with him over 25 years of criminal trial prosecution experience. Mark graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 1989 and then served a one-year clerkship with the Hon. Frank M. Donato in the Passaic County Superior Court, Family Part. Mark then joined Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services for a short period of time representing indigent clients.
In November of 1990, Mark accepted a position with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. During his 25 years with the Prosecutor’s office, he served in various units including Juvenile, Trial, Grand Jury and Homicide. Mark served as a Chief Assistant Prosecutor in charge of the Trial Unit (2009-2014) and as the Deputy First Assistant (2014-2015) until his retirement. Prosecuting within the various units allowed Mark the opportunity to master the criminal code for prosecution of every type of criminal matter charged. During his career at the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Mark has tried numerous bench/non-jury trials in addition to approximately 150 jury trials including 12 homicide cases. Mark retired from the Prosecutor’s Office in January, 2015, and as an associate at Bruno & Ferraro now focuses on criminal matters in the Superior Courts as well as both criminal and motor vehicle violations in the Municipal Courts and domestic matters in the Family Part of Superior Court.
